**What you'll be doing**
The Communications Manager will support the Associate Director of Strategic Communications and NSW Health Pathology's Fusion team in developing and delivering high quality, multi-faceted communication and engagement strategies that support the organisation's transformation agenda, with focus on Fusion, a transformation program to deliver standardised statewide information systems and workflows and establish a statewide laboratory information management system (LIMS).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive senior experience in communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex information into simple messages and write for a range of formats and channels.
- Advanced critical thinking, issues management and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of developing creative yet practical solutions to challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple strategic communication and engagement plans independently and simultaneously while also producing quality work with solid attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, liaison and coaching skills and proven experience working collaboratively with others to achieve strategic goals and quality outcomes.
- Proactive, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a dynamic team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential and experience with platforms such as SharePoint and Green Arrow is highly desirable
- A current unencumbered class C driver’s licence with a willingness and ability to travel as required.
