The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the finance team on an initial contract basis, with the potential to go permanent. This is a critical hire with an immediate start preferred, managing end-to-end accounts payable processes in a energetic environment where adaptability is key.
Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end accounts payable transactions through to bank payments
- Manage up to 100 invoices weekly, plus ad hoc AP tasks as required
- Allocate costs accurately across multiple programs and cost centres
- Work with finance systems including ProSpend and Sage Intacct
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries promptly
- Support the finance team in maintaining timely and accurate records
- Provide backup cover for colleagues where needed to ensure continuity
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, with end-to-end processing responsibility
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a high volume of invoices
- Comfortable working in a complex environment with multiple cost centres and programs
- Experience with ProSpend and Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential
