Our client is a well-established port logistics business operating across Kewdale and Fremantle. They are looking for an experienced CFS Supervisor to join their warehouse operations team and take ownership of day‐to‐day container freight station operations.
This is a hands‐on supervisory role where you'll be responsible for coordinating container unpacks and export packs, managing LCL freight movements, ensuring compliance with Australian Customs and Biosecurity regulations, and keeping clients updated every step of the way.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supervising container unpacking and export packing operations
* Coordinating all LCL freight for the yard and handling unpack reports
* Managing LCL delivery bookings in line with customer and receiver requirements
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Customs and Biosecurity regulations
* Liaising with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders to meet delivery requirements
* Working collaboratively with the Transport operations team on driver and equipment capacity
* Managing key accounts and ensuring all agreed requirements are met
* Performing accurate data entry, job entry and administrative tasks
* Investigating and resolving any warehousing rate issues or disputes prior to invoicing
* Delivering exceptional customer service and responding to queries promptly
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within transport, logistics or warehouse operations
* Hands‐on experience managing container unpacks and export packs (essential)
* Strong understanding of Australian Customs and Biosecurity requirements
* Experience coordinating LCL freight in a port logistics or freight forwarding environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to plan and manage a small team
* High attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation
* Excellent communication skills – confident liaising with clients, carriers and internal teams
* Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing operational demands
* Reliable, hands‐on and experienced
