The role
You will provide efficient and professional technical sales of TRILITY and other distributed equipment, incorporating water quality instrumentation, disinfection systems, chemical dosing pumps/systems, and gas chlorine equipment.
The role is a predominantly customer‐facing role and will have a strong business development focus as we look to grow sales and service in our SA/NT or Vic/Tas Territories.
Key responsibilities
* Provide business development for the TRILITY Service Teams
* Provide quotations to customers and assist other Sales team members with technical enquiries
* Work with Service Manager to plan approaches to new customers and prepare annual budgets
* Develop long‐term relationships with customers through an account management process
* Generate and close recurring sales opportunities that assist with achieving customers' objectives
* Prepare sales orders, invoicing and associated documents
* Maintain up‐to‐date market knowledge of the industry, competitors, technologies, and products
* Work closely with the Business Development team to manage smaller project opportunities and quotes
* Work closely with the Service Managers to maximise cross‐selling of parts and equipment
* Represent TRILITY at industry events, client briefings or other external events
What we are looking for
* Demonstrated experience in sales of equipment and spare parts
* Ability to put complex quotations together and negotiate sales
* Technical knowledge relevant to TRILITY's agreed product range
* Experience with financial management
* Ability to present a favourable professional image to customers in communications, attitude, behaviour and commercial acumen
* Working level knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel and database applications
* Knowledge of the water and wastewater treatment industry is essential
* Understanding of water chemistry and instrumentation principles desirable
