**About Us**
Bay Building Services is a market leader when it comes to insurance building in Australia. Operating nationally, for 35+ years we have specialised in repairs to domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage.
**About The Role**
Due to the increasing demand for our insurance building services we are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our TAS team in Hobart. As Supervisor you will be responsible for the successful delivery of small - medium domestic and commercial damage caused by insurable events
The Supervisor is ultimately responsible for all site-based operations such as:
- quality assurance
- adherence to WH&S standards
- client liaison
- make safes
- engaging trades and monitoring progress
- preparing schedules
- forecasting monthly revenue according to project completion dates
- managing budgets resulting in the delivery of quality outcomes for clients.
Working alongside our Procurement team to onboard and manage our subcontractors and suppliers is also a key component of the role.
**Qualifications**:
- Drivers License and Construction Induction Card
- Trade and Apprenticeship required
- Certificate IV in Construction (highly desirable)
**Key Professional Skills**:
- 3+ years experience in construction/building supervision
- Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, trades and suppliers
- Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permits and WHS requirements.
- Estimation skills would be advantageous
**Key Attributes**:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fantastic interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office MS Project and Excel programs
