Australian Security Company (ASC) has been protecting Australian businesses for over 40 years and we're expanding fast. We're looking for an experienced Electronic Security Technician to join our in-house team and help deliver work across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast — and national client projects as required.

What you'll be working on
A mix of installation, servicing, maintenance and upgrades across:
* CCTV, alarms, access control, intercom, duress and integrated security systems
* Leading brands including Inner Range, Tecom, Hanwha, Avigilon, Gallagher (and similar)
* Commercial, government, industrial, and multi-site environments across SEQ + national client work
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission and service electronic security systems to ASC standards
* Fault-find and resolve issues across CCTV, alarms, access control and intercom
* Preventative maintenance, upgrades and system optimisation
* Support project delivery end-to-end, including:
o Site readiness checks and coordination with builders/IT/electricians
o Reading plans/specs, verifying scope, and raising issues early
o Assisting PMs with staging, testing and commissioning schedules
o Documentation: labeling, as-builts, QA checklists, handover packs
* Maintain strong client communication and represent ASC professionally on-site
* Mentor apprentices/trainees — support skill development, set standards, lead by example
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in electronic security installation and servicing
* Strong fault-finding ability and quality-first mindset
* Solid networking basics (IP addressing, switching basics, remote access, integrations)
* Comfortable working independently while following safety and process requirements
* Someone who likes to be challenged, takes ownership, and wants to be rewarded for performance and reliability
* Licences/tickets (as applicable):
o QLD Security licence
o Cabling registration
o White Card
o Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
o EWP and other relevant tickets (ideal)
* Valid driver's licence and professional presentation
