About the role:
As a Senior Business Analyst within Safer Care Victoria's Medicines and Pharmacy Improvement team, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development and implementation of the Victorian Statewide Medicines Formulary and other medicines and pharmacy related improvement projects.
Working under the guidance of the Digital Solutions and Analytics Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end analysis of business needs, processes and systems to inform the development of a statewide digital platform that delivers timely and accurate medicines information at the point of care. This role is pivotal in ensuring the system is user-centred, compliant, and adaptable to evolving project needs.
The intent of this IT solution is to deliver a sector‑wide digital platform that supports clinicians and health services with timely, accurate formulary information at the point of care. It is designed to operate across a broad and diverse range of public health services with varying digital systems and levels of digital maturity, requiring strong cross‑sector engagement and adaptability rather than a single‑system approach.
The platform will integrate with existing digital health infrastructure where possible and enable robust monitoring to inform sustainable procurement and medicines‑use strategies, supporting equitable access to medicines for patients across the state.
