* Sunshine Coast Area: Supported Independent Living (SIL) shifts - inactive overnights required
About the Role
As a Lifestyle Mentor, you'll be helping participants build their independence and lead fulfilling lives. Your days will be guided by a commitment to Purpose, Opportunity, and Passion. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and domestic activities.
* Encouraging skills development such as job readiness, cooking, financial literacy, or navigating public transport.
* Promoting social and community inclusion by helping participants connect, forge friendships, and pursue their interests.

Beneficial Requirements
Bring your passion to IDSS, and we'll help you create lasting opportunities! While prior experience is valued, growth is accessible to all. Beneficial qualifications include:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent (beneficial, but not essential).
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card (or willingness to apply for).
* A current Australian driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
* Completion of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission eLearning Certificates. (or willingness to complete).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to quickly learn and use various apps and systems.

Company Overview
IDSS is a disability support provider with Community Hubs in Bundaberg, Childers and the Sunshine Coast. We deliver a range of supports to people with a disability including: Supported Independent Living, Community Access (both individual and group support), Respite. We're five years old now, and we wouldn't have made it to where we are without the participants we support and the commitment and hard yakka of our extraordinary staff. We are looking for Lifestyle Mentors to work across our communities.
