We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Rigger to join our maritime sustainment program based in Henderson, WA. The position will initially be a 12 month fixed-term contract with opportunity for a long-term position.

Core hours will be 8 hours per day Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime in busier periods
Your recent role:
As a Mechanical Fitter at BAE Systems, your duties will be;
Mechanical Fitter duties on the Anzac Class Navy Frigates
Pressure Testing
Rigging when required
General housekeeping
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will need the following:
Relevant Trade Qualification
Previous Mechanical experience
Marine experience desirable
Advanced Rigging licence
Ability to work autonomously or part of a team
An excellent attitude towards safety
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
We are open to seeing resumes from Advanced Riggers with Fitting experience (no trade qualification)
