* Work in a high-volume, technologically advanced radiation oncology department
* Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists and multidisciplinary cancer teams
* Access modern planning and treatment technologies including IMRT, VMAT, SABR and SRS
* Contribute to research, education and continuous quality improvement initiatives
* Be supported in ongoing professional development and CPD growth
What you'll be doing
As a Radiation Therapist Level 2, you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of safe, accurate and high-quality radiation therapy treatments. You will work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive efficient, compassionate and evidence-based care throughout their treatment journey. Key responsibilities will be to:
* Plan and deliver precise radiation therapy treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
* Perform simulation, treatment planning, immobilisation and accessory manufacture
* Operate advanced radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
* Support patients and carers through education about treatment and side-effect management
* Participate in quality assurance, research and continuous improvement activities
What you’ll bring
You are a motivated radiation therapist with strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
* Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Therapy)
* Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
* Eligibility for EPA licensure with the NSW Environment Protection Authority
* Demonstrated knowledge of radiation therapy planning, treatment delivery and QA processes
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

* Qualifications: Graduate of a course in Medical Radiation Science-Radiation Therapy, accredited by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority
* Registration: Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
* Licence: Eligible for EPA licensure by the Department of Environment and Climate Control NSW

* Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy, including Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, oral and electronic formats
* Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety measures in radiation therapy
* Demonstrated proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated interest in continuing professional development, research and quality improvement activities
* Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care
