Our services operate 365 days of the year.About the RoleTo expand our reach and impact, our Fundraising & Partnership Executives are dynamic and strategic growth-focused professionals who drive regional partnership development across our diverse and vital region. These roles are pivotal to our future. They are responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing new partnership opportunities that deliver tangible financial support and elevate our brand presence across Northern Queensland and the Northern Territory. With a strong focus on acquisition, retention and long-term relationship development, you will work closely with regional community, business and the broader RMHC North Australia team to align local engagement with the Chapter, National and Global RMHC strategy.The Fundraising & Partnerships Executive, drives initiatives that grow our supporter base, unlocks new revenue streams, and strengthens existing connections. You will develop and execute regionally tailored strategies that contribute to the achievement of fundraising targets and support the overarching strategic goals of the Chapter.Key responsibilities include:Co-lead new business development and partnership acquisition across Northern Australia in collaboration with the Fundraising & Partnerships Executive (Mackay).Manage and strengthen relationships with existing donors and sponsors to drive long-term engagement and mutual value.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and execute effective community and corporate engagement strategies.Work with the Communications and Marketing Executive to enhance brand visibility and local engagement through regional media and networks.Maintain accurate CRM records and leverage data insights to inform strategic decisions and actions.Participate in regional and occasional interstate travel as required.Perform tasks that may require basic physical fitness and manual handling capabilities.Selection Criteria:Proven experience in cold calling, sales, business development, and customer service is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with corporate, community, and individual donors.In-depth, localised understanding of the communities served across Northern Australia.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities into sustainable, mission-aligned partnerships.Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and empathetically across diverse stakeholder groups.Proficient in standard computer applications, with training provided for role-specific systems.Ability to remain calm under pressure, applying practical problem-solving skills with empathy to achieve effective outcomes.Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines independently.Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Previous experience in fundraising or within the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable.Willingness to work occasional after-hours shifts, as required by the nature of the role.Why Join RMHC North Australia?Make a real impact on the lives of children and families in North Australia.Be part of a supportive, inclusive, and passionate team.Opportunities for professional development and growth within a national charity.Professional development and training opportunitiesAccess to Fitness Passport and employee wellbeing platformCompetitive remunerationSalary packaging up to $15,900 p.a.How to ApplyIf you're a motivated, compassionate individual with a drive for supporting others and contributing to organisational success, we invite you to apply.
