**YOUR role..... **We are seeking an experienced Caretaker who is excited to join Seasons Flexi and will contribute to the following. Your total package will include a two-bedroom apartment (rent free) and a salary that covers all hours worked, including public holidays and emergencies.
- Undertake general maintenance and repairs of the community.
- Ensure well-presented, maintained common area and gardens.
- Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met, including WHS.
- Building strong rapport with residents, you ensure their security and safety.
- Five days a week provide administration (5hrs), cleaning dining room, toilets, BBQ area (2.5hrs)
- Support resident wellbeing, by identifying and promoting social initiatives for residents.
- This role is full time at Caloundra, however from time to time you may need to support a 7 day week/24- hour business, taking after hour calls and/or supporting with emergency situations.
**YOUR Responsibilities**
- Manage CCTV, security, and access control.
- Be on call during working hours to respond to emergency and answers the telephone.
- Arrange ambulance, doctor, or render immediate first aid as required.
- Maintain an over-arching awareness of residents' wellbeing.
- Maintain fire and safety alarm equipment and implement relevant safety and WHS procedures.
- Conduct apartment security checks when residents are absent.
- Obtain prior approvals from Community Manager to engage external service providers and contractors (eg: cleaning, gardening, security, electrical, plumbing etc).
- When on site supervise external contractors, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Undertake orientation and inductions of external service providers and contractors.
- Undertake further tasks as reasonably required from time to time.
- Operate in line with Seasons Living Code of Conduct, Policies and Procedures.

- Able to live on site
- Intermediate computer skills
- Solid administrative experience
- Able to show compassion and care for elderly people
- Outgoing, friendly personality, caring and considerate
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
**Requirements**:
- Current Police check
- Current Drivers Licence
- Senior first aid certificate and CPR
- Covid-19 vaccine evidence (mandatory)
- Hold unrestricted Australian working rights
