We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Occupational Hygienist to work closely with our site Safety Team & operation in ensuring that the site complies with all Company and Statutory Occupational Health, Safety and Training Regulations.
• Develop health management plans along with baseline sampling plans
• Conduct investigations for occupational hygiene incidents
• Report occupational hygiene exposure data to stakeholders at set frequencies
1. Liaising with statutory bodies including doctors hospitals FESA RFDS
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include undertaking legislative duties as mine air quality officer noise office radiation safety officer fixed gauge assessing evaluating work procedures environments identifying potential health hazards eliminating them placing adequate controls developing implementing health management plan along with baseline sampling plan ensuring all health hazards identified controlled reported INX conducting control verification activities facilitating developing site-based training required such respirators hearing protection providing fit testing services workgroups conducting audit assurance activities compliance sound knowledge western Australian occuptional healthcare regulations policies practices demonstrated leadership teamwork skills well-developed interpersonal facilitation presentation skills etc..
