Director of Governance
This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of an esteemed organisation.
* Effective governance is essential for the success of any organisation, and this role requires you to be actively involved in formulating strategic directions and approving plans.
* You will also be responsible for recruiting and managing the performance of the Chief Executive Officer, reviewing and approving the business plan and annual budget, and contributing to the development of Board and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend approximately 11 Board meetings, and other special meetings as required;
* Participate in relevant learning and development to enhance your skills and knowledge;
* Undertake travel related to your role, including monthly conference calls with management, financial reporting and general compliance issues;
* Spend time on strategy meetings and site visits annually.
