As a Senior Process Operator (2IC) at our Gruyere mine site, you’ll be hands-on in day-to-day plant operations while providing vital support to the Process Shift Supervisor. It’s a great opportunity to build your leadership skills and make a real impact on production performance.
This role is being offered on an 8:6/7:7 roster.
What you will be doing:
* Support and provide coverage for the Shift Supervisor when required
* Lead by example in promoting a strong safety culture and living our Vital Behaviours
* Operate and monitor plant equipment across all processing areas
* Coordinate daily work activities, including unplanned tasks, reports and checklists
* Liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance teams to optimise performance and resolve issues
* Maintain accurate production data and shift reporting
* Identify improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and team capability

About you:
* Experienced Process Operator with a background in mineral processing
* Confident team leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring others. Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate would be advantageous
* Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving across plant operations
* Familiar with control room environments
* Strong communicator with solid computer skills (Word, Excel, databases)
* Holds a valid C Class Driver’s Licence
