Purpose
The role of the Graphic Designer is responsible for the successful development and end to end execution of graphic design across Marketing, Digital and Visual Merchandising channels. They will be proficient in creative thinking and design development, typesetting and have a considered approach to the creative process ensuring a high standard of design is achieved. The Graphic Designer will champion Country Road brand guidelines ensuring the brand is executed in a consistent way through all channels
Key Accountabilities
Graphic Design
* Conceptualise, design and execute creative communications, interpreting the campaign direction set by the head of marketing, across all communication channels including email, website, social media, above the line advertising, public relations, packaging and in store
* Participate in all content planning sessions, bringing an understanding of emerging creative trends and competitor activity
* Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends and digital design tools
Campaign Support
* Support the marketing team with the creative development and art direction for Country Road campaigns and content shoots, including where applicable creative concepts, photo shoots, talent, locations, post-production elements, retouching, asset delivery and storage, ensuring assets are delivered on brand, on time and on budget
Reporting, Budgeting and Leadership
* Weekly creative workflow management
* Quarterly deep dive creative reviews
* Maintain accuracy of the marketing calendar
* Develop and lead a high performing Graphic Design team building a positive and collaborative culture
Key Capabilities
Experience in a similar role working across graphic and digital design (previous fashion experience highly regarded)
* High level of understanding for responsive design across multiple devices
* Exemplary knowledge of graphic design applications including InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects
* Knowledge of workflow management systems such as
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Display initiative and willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities
* Well-developed time management and organisational skills
