An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Oncology Ward at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a permanent full-time position.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will:
* Act as a clinical and professional resource within the Oncology team;
* Demonstrate broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of patient care;
* Contribute to the education of staff at all levels;
* Participate in department orientation, in-training, and clinical competency programs;
* Make a valuable contribution to the hospital’s contribution to the hospital’s continuous improvement; processes as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).
REQUIREMENTS
* Current registration with AHPRA;
* At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience in Haematology/Oncology;
* Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration;
* Ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients;
* Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes;
* Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

REMUNERATION
On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $50.29 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
