As our operations continue to evolve, we are needing a experienced Injury & Wellbeing Manager ANZ to lead and strengthen our workers' compensation and injury management strategy across the region.

About Our Opportunity:

Safety is not just a compliance requirement at Hilton Foods it's fundamental to our right to operate.

This is a role for a specialist who can bring balance, combining strong governance and legislative rigour with early intervention, prevention and genuine care for our people.

Reporting to the Safety & Wellbeing Manager ANZ, you will spearhead our injury prevention program and take accountability for the end-to-end oversight and optimisation of our workers' compensation portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. You'll influence how work is done, embedding preventative strategies that make a measurable difference. You will also be key in providing strategic advice to our safety and operational leadership teams as an injury management specialist, improving return-to-work outcomes.

This is a high-impact role that goes well beyond compliance. You will partner closely with Safety, People & Culture, Finance and Site General Managers to influence outcomes at both operational and strategic levels.

What You'll Be Responsible For: Prevention & Proactive Injury Management
* Analyse injury and claims data to identify trends and high-risk activities
* Implement preventative programs aligned to operational realities
* Support job demands analysis and work capacity planning
* Integrate prevention initiatives into broader safety strategies
Workers' Compensation & Claims Governance
* Oversee the full lifecycle of workers' compensation and common law claims
* Act as primary liaison with insurers, legal providers and rehabilitation partners
* Provide governance and escalation support for complex and high-cost claims
* Ensure legislative compliance across multiple ANZ jurisdictions
* Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions
Return to Work & Early Intervention
* Design and embed robust return-to-work frameworks
* Strengthen early reporting and intervention pathways
* Support injured workers, medical practitioners and operational leaders
* Coach leaders on their injury management responsibilities
Strategy, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
* Deliver data-led insights to the regional leadershipTrack claim duration, cost trends, frequency and severity
* Contribute to the 1–3 year ANZ injury management strategy
* Drive continuous improvement across sites
What Makes You a Great Fit:

You're experienced in managing complex injury portfolios within fast-paced environments such as food manufacturing, warehousing, retail or industrial operations.

You bring:

* Qualifications within Health and Safety, preferably an allied health discipline or strong occupational rehabilitation case management experience
* A successful track record of working with ANZ workers' compensation legislation
* Proven experience managing high-risk and high-cost claims
* Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder engagement capability
* Confidence using data to drive commercial outcomes

You're resilient, pragmatic, and able to navigate complex situations while maintaining trust and credibility.
