About the Role
Due to platform evolution and new feature development, they are seeking a Java Developer to join a collaborative engineering team delivering secure, scalable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
* Build and enhance platform features with a focus on quality and maintainability
* Write clean, secure, well-structured and testable code
* Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams on new capabilities
* Contribute to sprint planning, estimation and delivery
* Support production issues and ensure system reliability
* Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes and engineering practices
Qualifications
* 3+ years' commercial software development experience
Required Skills
* Strong Java experience (JVM languages such as Groovy a bonus)
* Experience with Spring or Guice, and Hibernate/JPA
* Solid unit testing experience (JUnit, Mockito)
* Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean code
* Experience building secure, scalable applications
* Experience with Maven, Gradle or similar build tools
* Version control (Git or Mercurial) and CI/CD exposure
* SQL database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server or Oracle)
* Experience integrating REST or SOAP APIs
* Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
