Psychologist
Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective therapeutic interventions using established evidence-based techniques and methodologies, adapting to individual client needs and treatment plans.
Effectively manage and coordinate service delivery models for case managed mental health, alcohol, and other drugs, and social needs of clients.
Contribute to providing access and coordination of comprehensive support services to clients and their families, aiming to achieve personal wellbeing as part of a holistic model of care.
Participate in a diverse and multi-disciplinary team that promotes a positive workplace culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications in Psychology with general registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
* Demonstrated ability to apply high clinical judgement and prepare accurate reports on client outcomes and interventions.
* Ability to work with culturally and socially diverse groups of clients, applying culturally responsive frameworks to guide interventions.
* Knowledge of scientifically-based psychology treatment approaches for mental health issues, suicidal ideation, drug and alcohol abuse, trauma, and behavioral problems.
* Experience in administering assessments, undertaking clinical assessments, and delivering intensive therapeutic interventions.
* Experience in overseeing and coordinating case management processes and procedures.
* Willingness to travel across the region and work across different sites.
