Responsibilities
The Team Leader: Mental Health Alcohol and other Drugs (MHAOD) Integration will be a valued member of the Mental Health & Wellbeing and AOD directorate to lead our MHAOD Integration team. The Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs (MH&AOD) Team Leader will work with Mental Health (MH) Clinicians, and specialised AOD staff as a resource to facilitate the integrated treatment, care and support for consumers living with mental ill health and psychological distress and alcohol or other drugs use or dependence, and their caregivers.
Qualifications
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:
* Unencumbered registration with AHPRA for Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, eligibility for membership with AASW for Social work
* Registered Nurse to hold post graduate qualifications in mental health or to have completed a specialist undergraduate psychiatric program and/or related field
* At least 5 years' discipline specific professional experience as per relevant EBA classification
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams
* Advanced clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of co‐occurring mental illness and substance use disorders
