Role Overview
As a Spool Fabrication Manager, you will lead the daily production of high-alloy steel and carbon steel pipe spools strictly according to project engineering isometric drawings and ITPs. Your key responsibilities include coordinating with the project construction planning team to ensure just-in-time delivery of fabricated modules to meet critical path deadlines, managing NDT coordination and hydrotesting protocols specific to facility requirements, reviewing field fit joints, providing overall support to the Construction Manager with respect to management and on-site storage, delivery, and transportation of fabricated pipe spools.
Job Description
You will be responsible for ensuring all project fabrication activities meet project schedules,
quality standards,
industry-specific welding codes (e.g., ASME,
AWS,
API),
strenuous site safety requirements.
The role involves leading a team of supervisors,fitters,welders,trades assistants,and staff in driving productivity,maintaining quality output
and timely delivering fabricated spools.
