Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Group Supervisor
As a mechanical engineering group supervisor, you will lead a team of engineers and designers in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical systems, components, and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure that the unique and complex requirements of a project's mechanical aspects are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement plans for independent mechanical work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of mechanical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on a medium-sized project or assignment in support of a global business unit.
* Lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes using relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards, and guides, as well as Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs).
* Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions to upper management.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and ******* years of relevant experience or ******* years of relevant work experience. Required knowledge and skills include knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods and materials in the mechanical discipline, and of engineering work planning and control methods.
This is a part-time telework role with a requirement for at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. The weekly in-person schedule will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
