What You’ll Do

- Work on study projects and ensure the study deliverables and documentation meet client and operational requirements.
- Develop study project schedules, budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and report on project quality, cost and schedules.
- Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and when required take action to resolve problems and minimise delays.
- Reporting to the Project Manager, work collaboratively with your team as well as other internal teams, disciplines, and the wider business.
- Play a critical role in building strong relationships with the client through the client interface.
- As required, help to prepare winning proposals and contribute to our ongoing growth.

About You

You’re likely to have more than 3 years of experience in Civil Project Engineering, with previous experience working on engineering study or design projects. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:

- Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Previous experience working within engineering mining or rail projects.
- Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good working relationships.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to continue your professional growth and learning, and enthusiasm to contribute to the successful delivery of heavy haul rail projects.
- Understanding of heavy haul rail projects will be well-regarded, but not necessary.
