Job Profile
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator to join our team.
* This role requires strong technical skills in networking infrastructure including LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and external connections.
* The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment configuration, documentation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
* A strong understanding of virtualisation environments (VMware vSphere) and associated SAN infrastructure is essential for this position.
* The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of cyber and information security policies in line with industry standards.
* System auditing, logging, and tuning to mitigate cyber threats is a key requirement for this role.
* The job involves supporting operational and automation systems including cranes, machinery, Wi-Fi, intercoms, and cameras.
* The Network Administrator will also contribute to the maintenance of corporate systems such as EDI/B2B messaging, Truck Appointment System (TAS), intranet, and other cloud-based applications.
* The role requires participation in IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and quality expectations.
* Effective IT backup and disaster recovery strategies will be executed by the selected candidate.
