**Job Summary**
As an Arboriculturist/Horticulturist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the city's open spaces and parks. You will work as part of a team to plant juvenile trees, prune and maintain existing vegetation, and participate in various horticultural activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planting and maintenance of juvenile trees
* Pruning and mulching of existing vegetation
* Operating and maintaining plant and equipment, including trucks, chippers, elevated work platforms, and general arboriculture equipment
* Participating in identified training programs to increase skills and knowledge
* Working in a small team to conduct juvenile tree maintenance activities
* Assisting with watering programs and operating water trucks
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Arboriculture / Horticulture or relevant experience and knowledge
* MR Class Drivers Licence is highly regarded
* General Construction Induction Card (White), or willingness to obtain
