Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate year 3 Junior School Teacher to join our vibrant educational community in Peppermint Grove, Western Australia. This 6 month appointment 20 July – 4 December 2026 with a possibility of extension or permanency, offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds, fostering a love for learning in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educational excellence and the ability to engage students effectively. Qualified graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to the diverse needs of students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational best practices.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and activities.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
* Current teaching registration with the relevant educational authority in Western Australia.
* The right to work in Australia
* Proven experience as a teacher, preferably in a junior school setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
* Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being.
