About your new job:
This is a hands-on end-to-end role with a billings component. Responsibilities include:
1. Banking & allocation of payments
2. Managing debtors inbox and handle inquiries
3. Investigate discrepancies and process adjustments
4. Preparing and issuing invoices and manage the billing process
5. Run and process direct debits
6. Bank and debtor reconciliations
7. Run various reports at month-end
8. Assist with current projects including system upgrades and automation of processes
9. Mentor and assist one other AR officer
10. Ensure compliance and accuracy of information
About you:
You will need to demonstrate a clear track record of success in a similar role. Specifically, you will ideally possess the following:
1. Extensive Experience in Accounts Receivable/ Credit Control and Billings
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills
3. Ability to multitask and have strong organisational skills
4. Previous experience with Direct Debits
5. Attention to detail and accuracy
6. Strong systems skills and a passion for system and process improvement
7. Ability to work autonomously and liaise with other departments across the business
