**The role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a full time Maintenance Fitter for our Sand Quarry at Penrose.
You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical repairs with a particular emphasis on planned and predictive maintenance and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained.
- Deliver mechanical maintenance services on site.
- Implement and carry out routine preventative maintenance.
- Participate in the maintenance program including preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Effectively respond to unplanned maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal downtime
- Undertake tasks associated with maintenance shutdowns including planning and organising as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of plans to drive continuous improvement.
**What you will need to succeed**
- Trade Qualification - Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting with welding and machining competence
- Previous experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with mobile crushing and screening plants
- Proven history in mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Experience with Sand Washing Plants would be an advantage
- Experience with operating Earthmoving Equipment an advantage
- EWP and Confined Space tickets or be willing to be trained.
- Computer literacy skills especially with Excel, Word, Outlook
- A good understanding of computer systems including SAP would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication ability with strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work with a small team to achieve safety and production targets
