Women's content portal Mamamia is recruiting for a new evening editor, based in the Woolloomooloo offices.
The person will be assigned to work the 2PM-10PM shift Mondays to Thursdays, but 9AM-5PM on Sundays. Their tasks include directing the newsroom, developing story ideas, assigning stories to writers and editing/publishing their stories, and writing some articles from time to time. They will also be in charge of monitoring traditional and digital media channels for the latest news developments.
Candidates must be graduates of journalism or other media-related courses with at least five years' journalism experience, preferably in digital news coverage. The person must also possess high-performance-team management skills, can work within deadlines, and be capable of mentoring staff.
