* We are seeking an experienced and passionate Japanese Chef to join our team at Emmario Pty Ltd in Nowra, NSW. This full-time role offers the opportunity to showcase your skills and creativity in authentic Japanese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook a range of Japanese dishes, including sushi, sashimi, and other traditional specialties.
* Plan menus and develop new recipes that highlight authentic flavours and innovation.
* Maintain consistency, presentation, and high-quality standards across all dishes.
* Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure skill development and teamwork.
* Manage kitchen operations, stock control, and food safety compliance.
* Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Requirements:
* Minimum Cert III & IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma in Hospitality Management.
* At least 3 years of experience as a Japanese Chef.
* Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
