About the Role:
At GeoChron Logistics & Distribution, we pride ourselves on precision. In a world where "next-day delivery" is the standard, we are the team ensuring that promise is kept. Based in the industrial heart of the Central Coast, we connect regional businesses with national supply chains. We are seeking a sharp, organized Logistics Coordinator to be the nerve center of our daily operations.
This role is the critical link between our warehouse floor, our transport fleet, and our customers. You won't just be entering data; you will be solving puzzles in real-time. Whether it's re-routing a driver to beat traffic or sourcing an urgent courier for a VIP client, you will ensure that goods move efficiently, safely, and on time. You are the calm voice on the phone when the pressure is on.
Why Work With Us?
* Reclaim Your Life: Say goodbye to the M1 car park. Stop commuting to Western Sydney or Newcastle and start working 15 minutes from home.
* Modern Facility: We operate out of a purpose-built hub with modern amenities and the latest transport management software.
* Career Velocity: We are a growth-phase company. Today you are coordinating transport; tomorrow you could be leading the Operations team.
* Team Culture: We are professional but down-to-earth. We celebrate the wins and support each other through the busy peaks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport Planning: Coordinate daily run sheets for our local fleet and book interstate freight via third-party carriers (3PL).
* Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for delivery enquiries. Provide ETAs, resolve "missed delivery" issues, and handle freight claims with empathy and speed.
* Inventory Control: Assist the warehouse team with stock integrity. Monitor inbound receipts and ensure goods are manifested correctly for dispatch.
* Compliance: Ensure all movements adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and fatigue management rules.
* System Management: accurate data entry into our TMS (Transport Management System). Generate consignment notes, labels, and end-of-day manifests.
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience: 2-4 years in a Logistics, Transport, or Supply Chain administrative role.
* Geographic Knowledge: You know the difference between a drop in Erina and a drop in Tuggerah, and you know how to route a truck efficiently between them.
* Tech Savvy: You are comfortable with Excel (VLOOKUPs are a plus) and have used logistics software (e.g., SAP, CargoWise, MachShip).
* Communication: You can speak clearly to a truck driver, a warehouse packer, and a corporate client—all in the same hour.
* Detail Oriented: You spot the typo in the address before the label is printed.
