Lead with Purpose: Transform Mental Healthcare with Us
At The Talbot Centre, we are not just part of the healthcare system—we are here to transform it. We believe every person deserves to know their worth, feel a sense of belonging, and be supported to grow into their full potential. Our mission is to challenge the status quo and pioneer a new kind of person-centred care—one that is deeply human, accessible, and empowering. We are reimagining healthcare, breaking down barriers, and creating real change for individuals, families, and communities.
If you’re driven by purpose and want to be part of something bigger, this is where you belong.
Step into Leadership: Be Part of a Movement, Not Just a Workplace
The Talbot Centre is passionate about pioneering the future of healthcare and this includes a strong commitment to developing and mentoring leaders in the healthcare field. If you are looking for an opportunity to be mentored in leadership development within a highly engaged, collaborative and diverse leadership team then this role is for you. Whilst prior management or leadership experience would be valued and welcomed, no prior experience is necessary, just a genuine desire to empower staff and clients to achieve their best lives.
As our Clinical Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mental healthcare. You will lead and support a team of dedicated clinicians, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, sustainability and professional growth. Your leadership will ensure our team delivers the highest standard of care to the community while feeling empowered, supported, and aligned with our values.
Please note provision of clinical supervision to staff is not required - see note at bottom of ad.
Why The Talbot Centre?
At The Talbot Centre, we don’t just offer jobs—we offer a place to belong. We’re looking for someone who isn’t just searching for their next role, but a team where they can grow, thrive, and make a real impact for years to come. We are not a private practice; we are a private outpatient service with a unique organisational structure designed to provide the best possible support for our staff which in turn results in the highest quality care for our community. If you're looking for a meaningful, long-term career in a workplace that truly values you, we’d love to hear from you.
The Talbot Centre is a multi-award-winning, premier healthcare service in Northwest Sydney. We were awarded Team Culture Excellence at the Australian Allied Health Awards in 2024, reflecting our commitment to a supportive and thriving workplace. Our director is also a past recipient of the Excellence in Allied Health Leadership & Management Award (2021). Due to planned organisational growth, we have a rare opportunity for a new clinical team lead to join our leadership team.
We provide clinical assessment and therapy services to clients across the lifespan with a focus on eating and feeding concerns, obsessive compulsive and related disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and complex presentations, and working with clients with a Christian faith. Our team members also have their own individual interests and niche focuses.
Our team includes psychologists of varying backgrounds and experience levels, dietitians, speech pathologists, and a paediatrician (with further expansion of services planned within the next 12 months).
