Town Services – Tradesperson
Location: Blackwater, QLD
Roster: 5/2
Responsibilities
* Respond to requests for repairs and maintenance
* Conduct regular repairs and maintenance on Yarrabee owned housing
* Removal/movement of company furniture when required
* Respond to requests for repairs and maintenance on building facilities on site at Yarrabee Mine
* Complete improvement projects as approved by the Construction coordinator
* Other tasks to support the Construction Coordinator as required
* Comply with all Site SHMS requirements when conducting tasks on site
* Comply with all WH&S requirements when conducting tasks
Qualifications
* Current open driver's licence
* Construction Trade Qualification (preferred)
* Current Standard 11 Induction (preferred)
* Current Qld Coal Board Medical (preferred)
* General Construction Induction White Card or Blue Card
Experience
* Experience and/or general knowledge in Building repair and maintenance, Carpentry, Painting or Tiling
* Proven experience in thinking quickly and problem solving
* Detailed understanding of WH&S legislation and requirements
Skills
* Good communication skills
* Ability to manage your own time in order to meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently
