Parent Pathways is about parents and carers and their individual needs. With the help of a qualified mentor, parents and carers can receive flexible support to assist with any personal, study or work goals.
This is a permanent part-time role working Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
* Working with eligible parents of children under the age of six
* Maintain and support an active caseload
* Conduct parent assessments within the context of continuing education and career planning
* Help parents to identify their goals by providing career guidance and pathway planning
* Develop, monitor and review a clear participation plan in consultation with parents
* Link parents into appropriate local non-vocational support services
* Achieve individual KPI's and targets
* Ensure compliance with the Parent Pathways Agreement for all relevant activities
Qualifications & Knowledge/Skills
* Experience in Community Service, Children, Youth and Families or Employment Services
* Administration experience – experience using CRM and databases, intranets, and sourcing information via internet
* Demonstrated ability to work in an outcome-based environment
* Demonstrated ability to develop high quality, individually tailored service
* Experience dealing with challenging participants and de‐escalating situations of conflict
* Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously
