We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Leader to join our team as the Aged Care Centre Manager at Bethesda Aged Care Centre in Rockhampton. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and be part of a close-knit management team.
About The Role
As the Aged Care Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the centre, supported closely by a Clinical Care Coordinator and a multidisciplinary team of care staff. Your areas of responsibility will include compliance, staff management, financial management, occupancy and AN-ACC requirements to support the needs of our residents.
About You
* You have an understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
* You hold unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse through AHPRA
* You have demonstrated financial management experience in successfully managing a residential aged care home
* You have demonstrated excellence in interpersonal/communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to lead staff in the achievement of organisational goals and objectives within a team environment
* You have knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, Professional Standards and Guidelines applicable to the role and willingness to work within same
* You have demonstrated industry knowledge with emphasis on business performance including AN-ACC, occupancy, people management and budget controls
* You have a desire to maintain and improve standards whilst understanding the need for strong financial stewardship and business performance
* You have knowledge and understanding of administrative processes, systems and service delivery
* You hold a National NDIS Workers Screening Check
