About the Organisation
Mane Consulting is representing an NSW government organisation in their search for an Operational Project Manager - Workforce Response, to join a very well established transport business unit within the NSW government on a hybrid working, 6-month contract basis. The organisation are in the process of implementing operational improvements across multiple sections of their workforce to strengthen their internal communication and incident response practices.
About the Role
As an Operational Project Manager - Workforce Response, you will manage and interact with a diverse set of stakeholders in a highly unionised, public transport environment. You will support the implementation of a range of measures designed to improve operational readiness in response to major incidents and ensure a high quality experience for end users of the service. Working closely with change management teams, you will utilise your experience in people management focussed project delivery to navigate the structural and technological constraints of the organisation. You will support external vendors to deliver technology-driven revamps and implementations whilst managing stakeholders across executive and commercial functions.
About You
The be successful in this Operational Project Manager - Workforce Response role, you should have:
* Extensive experience in managing diverse sets of stakeholders in mature, highly unionised environments
* Outstanding communication and people management skills with the ability to navigate stakeholder pushback
* A track record of improving operational response and uplifting cross-departmental communication capabilities
* A background in highly industrialised transport or logistics environments
* Experience in implementing technological uplifts to support operational function at an organisation-wide scale
