Our Global Credit Risk team in Sydney is responsible for managing our Financial Institution clients such as banks, non-bank financial institutions and funds, while supporting our financial markets and asset management businesses.

What role will you play?

As an Analyst, you will work closely and collaboratively with a team of senior approvers, management and business stakeholders to manage a portfolio of counterparties, review requests and new transactions. You will play an active role in the management of our financial markets business and financial counterparties, working closely with other associates, analysts and business stakeholders to present findings to management for approval including opportunities with our Head of Credit and Head of Risk Management.

What You Offer

* Degree qualification in a related discipline, such as Business or Finance
* Previous experience in Professional or Financial Services
* Strong communication skills and an understanding of Risk and the ability to interpret financial statements
* Good understanding of financial markets and key risk factors for financial products

About the Risk Management Group

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
