Your new role

As an APS6 Clinician, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, trauma-informed clinical services. You will:

* Deliver individual, couple, and family counselling, case management, and risk assessments.
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical notes, risk assessments, and care plans.
* Conduct intake assessments and coordinate referrals to internal specialists and external providers.
* Liaise closely with families, treatment providers, and stakeholders to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
* Participate in case reviews, operational supervision, and CPD requirements.
* Co-facilitate group programs and support community engagement activities.
* Contribute to program evaluations, service improvements, and clinical governance initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

You will bring:

* Strong clinical experience in psychology, social work, counselling, occupational therapy, nursing, or related discipline.
* Experience providing trauma-informed, client-centred care within a multidisciplinary environment.
* High-level interpersonal and communication skills, including working with vulnerable and complex clients.
* Ability to complete clinical documentation, risk assessments and maintain professional standards.
* Sound judgement, emotional intelligence, and capability to respond calmly in critical incidents.

Mandatory Requirements:

* Relevant professional qualification (AHPRA registered Psychologist/OT/Nurse, AASW-eligible Social Worker, or Masters-level Counsellor with PACFA/ACA registration).
* WWVP or Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
* Australian Citizenship (required under the Public Service Act).
* Ability to obtain and maintain Baseline security clearance.

The Logistics

* Two APS6 Clinician roles
* Locations: Melbourne & Albury-Wodonga
* 12 month labour hire contract, with extension potential
* Hourly rate: Approx. $65-$73 + super
* Hybrid work options
* Weekly pay cycle, online timesheets, and professional support structure
