An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Projects group, supporting a busy partner and a small team of lawyers.
This role will be well suited to an organised and skilled administrative assistant who can prioritise and work autonomously.
Key responsibilities
* Supporting partner to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth running of the practice
* Diary and inbox management
* Billing, time recording, expense management and reporting
* Preparation of correspondence, emails and other matter related documents
* Assisting with telephone enquiries and ability to develop relationships internally and externally
* Matter management including opening and closing files, archiving, electronic filing, and physical filing
* Assisting with event management and travel bookings
Required skills and experience
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Advanced knowledge of CMS Aderant Expert or other finance related software
* Advanced knowledge of NetDocuments or other document management software.
