Mesh & Bar Pty Ltd is an innovative independent steel reinforcing company. We operate from premises in Bells Creek Industrial Park, Caloundra, where we manufacture and distribute steel reinforcement products and associated building products to the construction industry.
We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Customer Service Officer to assist with a variety of tasks and join our dedicated team. Reporting to the Office Manager, this role will provide sales support to the existing office staff team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Receiving incoming calls and emails and assisting with placing orders, product enquiries, quotes and problem solving
* Supporting internal and external customers with order status, inventory levels and delivery schedules
* Liaising with key staff and departments to ensure customers orders and expectations are met on time and in full
* Maintain customer relationships
* Process customer returns and credits
* Assisting other team members as and when required
The successful applicant requires:
* Previous experience in a customer service role in reinforcing is highly desired
* Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service
* A pleasant & professional telephone manner
* A high standard for customer service
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Outstanding organisation and time management skills – ability to multi-task
* Ability to communicate well and work closely within a team environment
* A desire to progress within our organisation
