About the Role
As an Injury Management Advisor at DFES, you will play a vital role in supporting the recovery and return-to-work journey of our dedicated employees and volunteers. You will oversee the entire claims process, from start to finish, coordinating comprehensive return-to-work programs and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes for each individual.
You will manage workers' compensation and personal accident (volunteer) claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing. By developing and implementing tailored return-to-work plans, you will facilitate a smooth recovery process, liaising closely with healthcare providers, insurers, and other relevant parties.
To excel in this role, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of workers' compensation legislation and regulatory requirements, and experience in injury management. You will also demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, driven by a genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to employee and volunteer wellbeing.
By prioritising safety and wellbeing, you will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across Human Resources and Safety Directorate, and Operational Commands. This collaboration will drive continuous improvement in service delivery, enhance project outcomes, and strengthen overall organisational capability.
