We are seeking an experienced Research Officer to join our team and drive healthcare innovation. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement tailored strategies to increase vaccination rates for COVID-19, influenza, pneumococcus, and shingles in primary care settings.
* Engage in co-design processes with healthcare consumers to create impactful, patient-centred interventions.
* Collect, analyze, and synthesize data to assess project effectiveness.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and healthcare stakeholders.
* Contribute to ethics applications, peer-reviewed publications, and public presentations.
Requirements
* Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in public health, health services research, service evaluation, medical science, or related discipline.
* Demonstrated research experience preferably conducted within a University or Medical Research Institute.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Australian primary healthcare system.
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated computer skills including spreadsheets, database programs, statistics, and word processing.
* Some understanding of qualitative health or mixed methods research.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
