As the newest member of the maintenance team, you'll play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and optimising a wide range of production machinery and plant equipment to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality mechanical work.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct preventative, reactive, and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery.
* Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs in a timely manner.
* Work alongside production teams to minimise downtime and enhance machine performance.
* Undertake equipment inspections, calibrations, and safety checks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reliability upgrades.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to all safety procedures.
About You
* Trade‑qualified Maintenance Fitter or equivalent (Cert III Mechanical Fitting).
* Experience working in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, food, packaging, or a similar environment.
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
* Exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, bearings, pumps, and rotating equipment.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
* A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
