BroadReach are seeking a Business Analyst specialised in the New Payments Platform (NPP) to drive the adoption of real-time payment solutions, bridging business needs with technical specifications for faster, 24/7 financial transactions. They focus on ISO 20022 messaging, PayID, PayTo services, and reducing reliance on legacy systems (BECS) to improve transaction security and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Requirements Definition: Analysing and documenting functional/non-functional requirements for real-time payments, including API integrations, message formats, and data standards.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with business stakeholders, banks, financial institutions, and internal technical teams to map processes, including PayTo initiation and enhanced data capabilities.
* System Integration: Managing the transition from legacy systems (like direct entry) to the NPP, enhancing payment speed and reducing settlement risks.
* Compliance and Security: Ensuring solutions adhere to industry standards such as ISO 9001 and PCI DSS.
* Domain Knowledge: Expertise in payments infrastructure, ISO 20022 standards, and payment orchestration.
Qualifications
* 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
* Proven experience in the financial services sector, particularly with payments and banking.
* Proven expertise in mapping business processes and translating them into technical specifications.
* Proficiency in working with payment APIs and data standards.
* Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
