We are seeking a Casual Aged Care Kitchen Hand to join our team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of aged care facilities across Sydney, providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
The role of a Kitchen Hand is a vital part of our team, requiring a kind and caring nature, good communication and time management skills, and a valid food safety certificate. As a Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation tasks, serving meals to residents, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, and adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, washing dishes, and cleaning work surfaces
* Serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
* Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
* Must have a kind and caring nature
* Have good communication and time management skills
* Have a valid food safety certificate or be willing to obtain one
* Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
* Working Rights in Australia
* Up-to-date COVID and Flu Vaccination record
* NDISC
* At least 1-2 years experience as a Kitchen Hand in an aged care facility
