We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our NSW Remedial team, based in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to take ownership of specialised remedial construction projects across the region.
You will be involved in delivering technically challenging projects across a range of infrastructure environments, including marine, mining, road, rail, and heavy civil structures. The role offers a strong mix of site-based and office-based work, with exposure to complex repair, strengthening, and remediation works.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of remedial construction projects across NSW
* Assist with estimating, tender preparation, and cost tracking
* Manage project administration, reporting, and compliance documentation
* Conduct site inspections and ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities
* Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and clients
* Contribute to planning, programming, and project scheduling
* Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer in civil or construction projects
* Strong experience in project administration and subcontractor management
* Competence in estimating and cost control
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work across multiple project sites when required
Preferred Experience
* Experience in remedial, structural, or heavy civil construction
* Exposure to concrete repair, structural strengthening, coatings, or steel remediation
* Experience working on T2 / T3 civil or infrastructure projects
* Experience in one or more of the following:
* Marine / wharf projects
* Concrete repair / strengthening
* Blast & paint / protective coatings
* Facade or structural remediation
* Based in Newcastle with travel across NSW project sites as required
* Projects across marine, mining, transport, and heavy infrastructure sectors
* Mix of site and office-based responsibilities
