About the role
Channel Earthmoving is seeking a motivated and experienced Works Co-ordinator to join our team in Kingston, Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and executing plant scheduling, ensuring efficient delivery and successful client outcomes.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and maintain detailed equpment schedules and timelines to ensure client satisfaction
* Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and resolve any issues that arise
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
* Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, implementing appropriate contingency plans
* Support the overall success of projects by providing effective planning and coordination
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience in a similar works coordination or project planning role within the construction industry
* Strong understanding of construction equipment processes, scheduling, and project management principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
* Proficient in using project management software and tools
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve issues
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
