About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Specialist to support our team in facilitating risk workshops, completing risk assessments, and enhancing our risk management documentation.
This is a short-term contract role with a fast-paced timeline, requiring a proactive and skilled professional to ensure the successful delivery of key risk management activities.
The ideal candidate will have experience within similar roles, Government experience highly advantageous.
* Organise and facilitate risk workshops and meetings across government departments to identify and assess potential risks.
* Engage stakeholders to promote collaboration and consensus in risk identification and prioritisation.
* Provide expert advice and support during risk discussions to ensure thorough evaluation and mitigation planning.
* Assist in conducting detailed risk assessments following government regulations and best practices.
* Regularly review and update Risk Registers to maintain an accurate and current risk profile.
* Collaborate with teams to validate risk data and recommend improvements to controls and mitigation measures.
* Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored to government needs.
* Promote a risk-aware culture through training and dissemination of risk management documentation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven Risk Management experience within a project or program environment.
* Experience in capital works and/or infrastructure project environments is highly desirable.
* Project Management experience is a plus.
