Our State Government client is seeking to engage an Assistant Director on a contract for 5 months.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The core duties for the position include, but are not limited to:
- embedding the Project Management Framework, including provide capability and capacity to manage planning, procurement and implementation of a PM system.
- development of Contract and Supplier Performance roles and responsibilities and templates
- Other duties
- Contribute to workplace diversity, participative work practices and promoting Work Health Safety (WHS) principles; and
- Other duties as required.
Professional / Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Experience in the management of complex procurements and projects and a proven record of output delivery on time and within budget.
- Experience and ability to interpret relevant legislation, policies and procedures to meet business objectives and service improvement.
- Highly developed written, verbal communication and positive negotiation skills including the ability to develop and present high quality, accurate documentation.
- Behavioural Capabilities
- Highly developed organisational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and determine priorities.
- Leadership and communication skills in delivering agreed business outcomes and solutions by taking initiative, managing people consulting with stakeholders and setting clear and supportive direction.
